Choose an island order that works
Port Blair–Havelock–Neil–Port Blair is a useful circuit to investigate, but the best order depends on dated sailings and hotel availability. Search each leg before booking accommodation. Neil-to-Havelock is a different direction from Havelock-to-Neil and needs its own check.
Use one-way search for a single crossing or add the next sector for a connected itinerary. Each sector can have its own date, operator and class. Review the complete sequence before entering passenger details.
Budget for the whole ferry journey
Compare the final amount for the same route, date, passenger ages and class. Published base fares are not necessarily the amount payable: port fees, fuel charges and applicable seasonal additions may be shown separately.
A ferry-only ticket should not be assumed to include hotel pickup, arrival transfers, meals, sightseeing or a return journey. Ask for a separate land-service quotation where needed. Cabin upgrades on several sectors can add up; compare the trip total before choosing.
Prepare for boarding, not just departure
Keep the confirmed ticket, accepted identity documents and reporting deadline together. Arrange transfers to the terminal on the ticket. Haddo, Phoenix Bay, Chatham, Aberdeen and Wandoor serve different needs and are not interchangeable departure points.
Ask about mobility assistance, baggage allowance and infant rules before paying. Weather and operational changes can affect sailings, so avoid an inflexible same-day onward connection when an earlier return is practical.

Should I choose the route or the ferry operator first?
Start with the route and date that fit your hotel and transfer plan. Then compare the operators, vessels, classes and final fares actually available.
Can I use different operators for different islands?
Yes. Review each sector independently, including reporting instructions and cancellation terms. Separate tickets are not automatically protected connections.
Are government and private ferry tickets booked in the same place?

Where should I look for my exact boarding point?
Use the terminal and reporting instructions on the issued ticket or operator update. The jetty guides help with planning but do not override a sailing-specific instruction.
