The sample was checked on 26 September 2026 and covers selected future dates. Verify the exact date, final payable amount, operating vessel and inclusion list before committing. A generic launch announcement is not a ticket, and this guide does not infer a vessel name from third-party publicity.

Ask what happens at Baratang: whether passengers disembark, which transfers or visits are included, baggage handling and the time to reboard. If sightseeing is not explicitly listed in the quotation, do not assume caves, permits or local boats are part of the ferry fare.

Compare a direct Havelock ticket if your priority is reaching the hotel earlier. For the via itinerary, arrange pickup against the confirmed afternoon arrival and leave time for baggage and the road transfer.

Sea itinerary versus Middle Strait crossing

The Middle Strait–Baratang vehicle-ferry link listed by DSS is part of a road journey. It is not a high-speed sea transfer from Port Blair to Havelock. Confirm the meeting point, transport mode and ticket issuer so the two products are not confused.

A road trip can involve separate access and timing requirements. Ask AWT to review the complete land itinerary and current official instructions instead of combining unrelated departure estimates.
