Planning your aberdeen Jetty

Aberdeen and the Water Sports Complex area are associated with sightseeing-boat departures around Port Blair. For a Ross Island or North Bay outing, confirm the exact meeting point with the issuing operator. This is not the usual Haddo terminal for private Havelock ferries.

Confirm what the excursion actually includes

Ask whether your booking covers Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island (formerly Ross Island), North Bay or both, and check the sequence. A boat transfer, entry charge and optional water activity may be separate items.

Confirm the return arrangement before boarding: meeting point, reporting time and whom to contact if an activity runs late. Do not assume a sightseeing ticket allows unrestricted returns on any boat.

Find the specified check-in point

Use the operator’s meeting instructions, not just a map search for a broad waterfront area. Carry the required ID and booking reference. Allow time for local access and safety instructions.

Ask about current activity permissions, weather restrictions and cancellation rules before payment. The private-ferry cancellation card on this page does not establish the conditions of a sightseeing boat.

Keep sightseeing and island transfers separate

A North Bay or Ross outing cannot replace a ferry ticket to Havelock or Neil. If both activities fall on one day, check transfers between the sightseeing point and the ferry terminal and leave enough reporting time.

Keep valuables protected from spray and follow the crew’s life-jacket and seating instructions. Check assistance needs before confirming, especially if stepping into a small boat is difficult.
