Nautika ferry: classes, fleet, timings and fares

Nautika ferry booking lets you plan island transfers around the sailing and cabin that suit your trip. Explore Nautika, Nautika Pro and the operator’s advertised fleet, then check the actual vessel, class and fare offered in your search.

Prepared by the AWT content team. Operator information reviewed on 12 September 2026; confirm date-specific timings, fares and conditions with your issued ticket.

Nautika ferry travel between the Andaman Islands

Nautika is a high-speed catamaran service for travel between Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram), Havelock (Swaraj Dweep) and Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). Its enclosed air-conditioned cabins combine reserved seating with views through large windows.

This Nautika ferry booking guide brings together vessel information, Luxury and Royal classes, seat selection, facilities, route timings, ticket fares and travel conditions. Use the shared search above to compare available sailings, then choose a Nautika result if it suits your journey.

Nautika Luxury vs Royal: choosing your cabin

Nautika’s published arrangement has Luxury on the lower deck and Royal on the upper deck. Use the actual seat map to check the seating arrangement for your sailing.

Nautika Pro also advertises private Business cabins with dining trays and complimentary beverages. Nautika Pride advertises Business and VIP options, including VIP technology-equipped seats. These are vessel-specific features; the two class photographs below show Nautika, not every fleet layout.

For a family choosing Nautika Luxury or Royal, first compare the total fare for everyone travelling. Royal’s upper-deck position may appeal for the elevated view, while Luxury can suit a simpler transfer budget. Neither cabin choice changes the sea conditions or guarantees a particular window position.

Air-conditioned interiors and refreshments

Nautika’s passenger cabins are fully enclosed and air-conditioned. Passengers view the islands and sea through the windows; this is not an open-deck sightseeing cruise. Enclosed cabins provide shelter from rain, sun and sea spray.

The operator allows passengers to bring food and water, and sells snacks onboard. Check what is included in the selected fare and pay separately for items that are not included.

Follow the onboard announcements and crew instructions. Travellers who need boarding help or have limited mobility should check assistance arrangements with AWT before booking, particularly when considering an upper-deck class.

The fleet page lists QR boarding and entertainment, with charging ports on Pro and Pride. Wheelchair assistance is advertised; confirm boarding access and the appropriate deck for your specific vessel before paying.

Nautika ferry seat map and seat selection

Nautika offers seat selection when the operator provides an available seat map for the sailing. Choose from the seats shown as available, check the class and add accurate traveller details before proceeding.

The layout image below is retained from the previous AWT page as an example. It is not an availability display and may differ from Nautika Pro or another assigned vessel. The live booking map is the reference for selectable seats.

Window seats and seats together depend on availability; selecting a preference is not a guarantee until the operator confirms the booking. Keep your confirmed PNR and ticket for check-in and for accessing the booking in My AWT.

Read the Nautika ferry seat map alongside the vessel name and selected class. Look for the available seats within that cabin, rather than assuming that a seat number from a previous trip has the same position on Nautika Pro. For families, review the group’s allocation before completing the booking.

Nautika ferry timings and published sailing schedule

The examples below come from the operator’s published schedule, reviewed on 12 September 2026. They are not a confirmation of availability for your travel date. Search above and follow the departure, arrival and vessel on your confirmed ticket.

All times are local Indian Standard Time (IST), shown in 24-hour format. Allow extra time for check-in, luggage collection and jetty transfers; weather and operational changes can affect a connection.

Nautika ferry price: class fares and infant tickets

Compare Luxury and Royal prices for your selected route and date. The final booking review shows applicable fare components, taxes, port fees and disclosed charges before you pay. A historical starting price is not a current ticket offer.

The previous AWT guide quoted ₹155 including PSF for infants under two years, with full fare above the infant threshold. Confirm the exact age boundary and current infant charge in your booking; enter every child’s correct age rather than treating infants as unlisted passengers.

A Nautika ferry price comparison is most useful when the route, travel date, vessel and cabin match. A Nautika Pro Business fare includes a different cabin proposition from a standard Nautika Luxury ticket. Review the group total and fare conditions, especially when comparing a morning transfer with a later departure.

Nautika boarding, ticket changes and cancellation

Nautika asks passengers to report at least 45 minutes before departure with their ticket and valid photo ID. Its terms state that boarding closes 20 minutes before departure; use this earlier cutoff when planning, as its FAQ gives a later cutoff. Follow any stricter instructions on your ticket.

AWT’s cancellation bands are shown in the shared section above. To cancel an AWT booking, open it in My AWT, select the travellers and review the charge and estimated refund before verifying and confirming. Check the amount shown for each passenger, including infants, rather than applying an old exemption automatically.

Nautika tickets are valid for the booked sailing and are non-transferable. Rescheduling depends on availability and applicable charges. Ask AWT to confirm the revised fare and cancellation eligibility before accepting a change.

An operator-cancelled sailing is different from a voluntary cancellation. The operator’s published terms provide for a refund when it cancels for weather or operational reasons; contact AWT to confirm the applicable process or available alternative. Keep your PNR and ticket accessible offline.

Nautika luggage and passenger assistance

Nautika’s current FAQ lists 15 kg of baggage, while its terms list 20 kg within a stated size limit. Confirm the allowance and any excess charge for your ticket with AWT before packing; do not assume the higher allowance applies.

Large bags are stored separately, so keep valuables and essential documents with you. Follow baggage screening and crew instructions; hazardous items are prohibited. Tell AWT about wheelchair or boarding assistance needs before booking.

Nautika ferry routes: planning your island transfers

Nautika ferry timings are one part of your itinerary. Choose each island connection around your accommodation and transfers, with space for operating changes rather than tightly packed onward commitments.

Nautika Port Blair to Havelock

Start with the time you can reach the jetty, then compare the available Nautika and Nautika Pro departures. Match the arrival to your Havelock hotel transfer. The earliest advertised sailing is only useful if you can meet its reporting deadline.

Nautika Havelock to Neil

This sector can connect two island stays without returning to Port Blair first when a sailing is available. Check hotel checkout, the Havelock jetty pickup and your Neil Island arrival arrangements together. Keep the itinerary flexible around any operator updates.

Neil to Port Blair and direct Havelock returns

Search from the correct island and review the actual routing before payment. Do not assume every Havelock return must go via Neil, or that a particular published departure runs on your date. Leave room for baggage collection and the onward road journey.

Compare all operators on the Port Blair to Havelock route

Nautika ferry booking: matching the vessel to your plans

For Nautika ferry booking, the vessel name matters as much as the operator name. Use the Nautika Pro class options only when Pro is the vessel offered for your sailing; the presence of Business or VIP information in a fleet guide does not make those cabins available on every departure.

If a Nautika booking is part of several island stays, compare each sector independently. A comfortable departure on the first day does not establish the next day’s return time. Keep the confirmed ticket for each journey and recheck any operator messages before leaving your hotel.

AWT provides its own customer booking and assistance flow. If you already have a ticket from another booking channel, check its confirmation instructions rather than placing a duplicate reservation. For an AWT payment awaiting confirmation, review the status in My AWT and ask for assistance before paying again.

Using Nautika ferry reviews to choose your trip

Nautika ferry reviews can describe different vessels and classes. Check whether the reviewer travelled on Nautika, Nautika Pro or another named vessel, and whether the review concerns Luxury, Royal or Business. Compare experiences relevant to the cabin you are actually considering.

For a useful decision, look at practical details such as boarding assistance, seating and the journey date. Distinguish the experience of the crossing from the service of the ticket seller. Treat photographs as context and use the current seat map and ticket conditions for your own booking.

Nautika ferry booking questions

A few more answers for planning your Nautika trip.

Are Nautika and Nautika Pro the same vessel?

No. Check the vessel name on the result and ticket, as seating classes and layouts can differ. Do not choose a Pro sailing using a Nautika-only layout image.

Can I choose Nautika for just one sector of a multi-island trip?

Yes, subject to availability. Compare each sector’s timing and choose the operator that suits that connection; the shared search supports connected island sectors.

What happens if no Nautika sailing appears for my date?

A missing result can mean no available inventory, a schedule change or a temporary provider connection issue. Try another date or contact AWT before assuming the route has stopped operating.

Does a Nautika Royal ticket guarantee a window seat?

No. The class and a particular seat position are separate choices. Check the seats available for your sailing and the final operator confirmation.

Where do I find my Nautika ticket and booking reference?

Once payment is verified and the operator confirms, your ticket and PNR are saved in My AWT and sent to your registered email. Keep them accessible for boarding and any later assistance.
