Start your Havelock stay with a workable arrival plan

This crossing takes you from the main arrival island to Havelock, also called Swaraj Dweep. Decide whether you can comfortably reach the terminal on arrival day or should spend the first night in Port Blair. A departure time alone does not tell you when you must be at the jetty.

Compare direct crossings separately from itineraries that stop at another island. A via-Baratang package can occupy much of the day and should not be compared with a straightforward Havelock transfer on journey time alone. Check every intermediate stop and what is included.

Nautika Luxury, Royal and the allocated vessel

Nautika offers Luxury and Royal categories on its main catamaran, while the fleet also includes Nautika Pro. Check the named vessel in the booking result: a photograph or class description for one vessel should not be treated as the layout of another.

Choose between available seats after comparing the complete fare. Royal is associated with the upper-deck cabin on Nautika; confirm access arrangements if stairs are a concern. Request adjacent seats for a family rather than assuming an upgrade automatically groups the travellers.

  • Read whether the sailing is Nautika or Nautika Pro.
  • Review the actual seat allocation; a window view is not guaranteed by the class name.
  • Ask for boarding assistance in advance when required.

Haddo check-in before the Port Blair departure

Private island ferries generally use Haddo in Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram). Read the issued ticket for the exact terminal and reporting deadline. An airport-to-Haddo driving estimate does not include collecting baggage, meeting your driver or check-in queues.

Arrange the transfer around the reporting time, with an allowance for traffic. Keep the ticket and accepted photo ID accessible for every passenger. Ask about boarding assistance before travel if steps, a gangway or carrying luggage may be difficult.

Compare the complete ticket cost

AWT’s published Nautika samples show passenger base fare separately from ₹50 port fee and ₹325 fuel surcharge. The Makruzz seasonal addition must not be applied to Nautika. Use the final dated total at checkout for your booking decision.

Choose the travel date and passenger ages before comparing totals. Check the vessel, class, seat allocation and payable amount for this sector. Transfers, accommodation and sightseeing are separate unless your quotation expressly includes them.

From Havelock jetty to your hotel

Book your pickup from the main Havelock passenger jetty, rather than from a beach departure point. Tell your driver the vessel and expected arrival, then allow time to disembark and collect luggage.

A ferry ticket does not reserve a hotel room or an activity slot. Leave a flexible first afternoon if arrival timing matters to your itinerary; avoid paying for a tightly timed excursion immediately after docking.

Before you confirm this crossing

  • Select a Nautika result for your route, check whether it is Nautika or Nautika Pro, and review the available class and seat allocation.
  • If continuing to Neil Island, book the Havelock-to-Neil sector separately or add it as the next sector in the search. Check the calendar date carefully when planning an overnight Havelock stay.
  • Use each traveller’s name as shown on the accepted identity document. Declare infants and children with their correct ages; check the selected operator’s age and seat rules.
  • Keep medicines, identity documents and valuables in your small hand bag. Check baggage allowance and any excess charge on the operator’s current terms before packing.
  • Read cancellation and rescheduling conditions before payment. A replacement sailing depends on availability and may involve a fare difference.

Can I take the Havelock ferry on the day I arrive in Port Blair?

Only if your arrival, baggage collection, road transfer and ferry reporting deadline leave a comfortable buffer. Share your arrival time with AWT before choosing a sailing; a Port Blair overnight stay may be more practical.

Does this search show only Nautika?

No. Supported operators are compared together. Choose Nautika or Nautika Pro only when that named sailing is returned for your date; entering a route does not guarantee its availability.

Which cabin should I choose for Port Blair to Havelock?

Compare the seats and price offered for Nautika Luxury and Royal on the allocated vessel. Do not transfer that cabin description automatically to Nautika Pro. For an arrival-day crossing, reachable departure time and seats together usually deserve attention before an upgrade.
