Move from Havelock to a Neil Island stay

Havelock-to-Neil connects two different island stays: Swaraj Dweep to Shaheed Dweep. It is not the return trip to Port Blair. Choose your departure after accounting for hotel checkout, collecting stored luggage and the drive to Havelock’s main jetty.

When planning a morning activity on Havelock, work backwards from ferry reporting time. A short sea crossing can still occupy several hours of the day once transfers, check-in and hotel arrival are included.

Match the Makruzz vessel to the cabin you want

Makruzz class names include Premium, Deluxe and Royal, but the available categories depend on the allocated vessel. Do not assume every Makruzz sailing has every class. Check the vessel and live class inventory before deciding on an upgrade.

Premium is the practical starting point for a reserved cabin seat. Compare Deluxe or Royal for the specific seating arrangement offered on your sailing. A class name does not guarantee a window seat, and an example fleet seating plan is not a live seat allocation.

Leave Havelock from the main passenger jetty

Confirm pickup from your Havelock hotel to the main jetty near Govind Nagar. Elephant Beach excursion boats use a different service arrangement; a sightseeing boat ticket cannot replace this inter-island ferry ticket.

Check that the ticket destination says Neil Island or Shaheed Dweep. Keep all bags together and make sure every traveller has the identification accepted for the booking. Follow the vessel’s reporting instructions, even when the crossing itself is short.

Compare the complete ticket cost

The AWT published Makruzz samples separate passenger base fare from ₹50 port fee and ₹325 fuel surcharge. The owner-confirmed seasonal addition is ₹100 per person from 15 December 2026 through 15 January 2027. These guide figures do not replace the final provider quotation.

Choose the travel date and passenger ages before comparing totals. Check the vessel, class, seat allocation and payable amount for this sector. Transfers, accommodation and sightseeing are separate unless your quotation expressly includes them.

Neil Kendra arrival and your afternoon on Neil

Tell your Neil Island hotel or driver to meet you at the arrival jetty. Do not arrange a pickup using only a beach name. Allow time to unload luggage before agreeing to a sightseeing start time.

Book the Neil-to-Port Blair return before committing the final day of your island stay. A later return can leave more island time, while an earlier one may offer a larger buffer for mainland departure plans.
